About our Restaurant

Oscar's Food & Spirits has been a North Myrtle Beach staple since 1988, built on the passion and vision of Oscar Frederick "Freddie" Williams and his wife Carla. Originally from Pittsburgh, Freddie dreamed of creating a coastal haven where fellow Steelers fans, Boilermakers, locals, and vacationers could gather for great food, cold drinks, and the camaraderie that only true sports fans understand. What started as a hometown hangout quickly grew into one of the area's most beloved restaurants.

Today, Oscar's remains rooted in that same spirit — a lively American pub-style restaurant and sports bar where everyone feels welcome, no matter who they're cheering for. Dozens of TVs broadcast every major game, transforming the space into a true fan headquarters. And while the energy keeps people coming back, it's our food that made us famous: generous sandwiches stacked high, award-winning wings, hearty burgers, and a full lineup of drinks to pair with every bite.

More than three decades later, Oscar's still stands for what Freddie envisioned — a home away from home where guests become regulars, traditions are made, and every visit feels like being part of the family. Whether you're here for the big game, a casual night out, or a beach-day bite, you're always welcome at Oscar's.
